You can add anything as an attribute to a given conversation. As per our API upload docs, you can specify anything within the custom_attributes field.

No, each conversation represents an individual API call and can have its own set of attributes. We recommend though that the name though be kept consistent to ensure effective filtering and grouping.

The only required fields are the channel_id, agent, call_date and call_time. It is not required to provide any custom_attributes.

Our API supports all standard audio formats.

No, you can generate a single token and reuse for all uploads in a single session. The token has a lifetime of 60 minutes after which it will need to regenerate it.

Unfortunately not, all API keys are encrypted and the original cannot be recovered. You will have to recreate the API key through the platform. Note though that this new API key will need to be used in all other applications that require it.

Not at this time. We recommend merging related audio prior to upload. The Voyc team can help guide how best to do this.

It can take up to an hour for conversations to appear on platform, depending on processing queue length. The processing count on the Conversation List page will indicate whether there are conversations in the queue.

If it has been more than an hour here are some checks:

Ensure both steps in the API upload flow completed successfully.
Check if the duration of the uploaded audio is greater than the transcription limit set on the channel. This can be found in the channel Settings -> Transcription Settings.
Ensure that you have not reached your monthly usage quota. If you are on a hours-based usage plan, you can check your usage on the Organisation Settings -> Usage.
If all of the above checks out, please contact Voyc support.

Ensure that the desired conversation is part of the conversations Voyc has been instructed to process.

Often the Voyc team has been instructed to only process conversations within a specific campaign, conversations done by a specific set of agents or based on any attribute provided to us in accompanying metadata. Please ensure that the requested conversation meets the necessary criteria.

The Voyc SFTP system will store the audio of calls that do not meet the required criteria for a set period of time, so if necessary we can updated any criteria and process a limited backlog.

The same processing time, transcription and usage limits as described in the API section will apply.

If all of the above checks out, please contact Voyc support.

New/updated metadata needs to be communicated to the Voyc team as it will need to mapped appropriately on our side. Without prior notice, the SFTP uploads system may break and require downtime while we fix and update the system to fit the new metadata.

Ensure that you are using the credentials provided by the Voyc team and are connecting over the IP address that was provided to the Voyc team for whitelisting.

Some FTP clients may require that you specify the root folder that is being connected to - in this case /data should be specified.

Contact the Voyc team and we will troubleshoot potential issues.

This is completely customisable to the cadence of the uploads to our servers.

Ensure that the desired conversation is part of the conversations in the configured channel filters. Direct integrations have the option to filter conversations to specific channels based on filters configured at channel creation.

If filters need to be updated, please contact the Voyc team as the facility to update is currently in development.
